While it’s rare to see any British footballers play abroad the UK, Richard Blythe – a semi-professional player – is currently eyeing the opportunity to play football in Sicily for the 2021-2022 season.
The 28-year-old midfielder spoke to Anthony Barbagallo about his ambition to play Italian football, especially learning new playing styles in the Sicilian leagues. Richard currently plays football with Bedworth United in England’s Southern League Division Central One.
